Texas is a little behind the times but is catching up fast. Old cases may have gotten lost in the shuffle. If they never filed the charges and the two year statue time has passed your free and clear. Texas holds a DUI against you for life. I live in Ca. now and the statue here is one year on misdemeanors and three on felonies. After ten years a DUI conviction can not be used against you in Ca.

If not call one of the bail bondsmen in that area and tell them you are trying to resolve this issue and may be needing bail.
